I came in flat — numbers great, nothing landing. Day one the room went quiet in a way I hadn't felt in years, and the freedive at sunrise stripped whatever was left. Nobody asked what anyone did for a living until dinner. By the second night my watch showed a resting heart rate I hadn't seen since my twenties. I didn't learn a hack. I remembered what a calm baseline actually feels like — and now I notice the second I leave it. That's the part I couldn't have bought anywhere else.
